The Yakima Housing Authority (YHA) is dedicated to providing high quality, affordable housing for all persons. YHA will be conducting interior and exterior renovations to all apartments in the following complexes. Renovations are predicted to last 12 months.

- Linda Vista
- Valley West
- Sage Court
- Harvest Plaza
- Horizon Apartments
Our General Contractor will be renovating both interiors and exteriors. The general scope of the renovations varies by unit and tenants will be out of their homes for approximately 5 to 11 days.
Renovation & Resident Temporary Relocation
Improvements to our buildings are needed to ensure families can continue to live in them as long as possible. We strive to make the environment better for your long-term residency.

General Renovation Scope
some work may not apply to a site or unit
The general renovation scope will include the following:
Interiors: New Finishes (Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinet, Countertop, Sink and Faucet replacements), Flooring replacements, interior Paint as needed, water saving plumping fixtures (Tub, Shower, and Water Heater) and some Blind replacement. (Please note not each unit nor each building will receive all of these items.)
Exteriors: Accessibility improvements, and parking lot improvements.
During this time, you will have to be temporarily relocated. (No one will be permanently displaced).
Moving Expectations & Relocation Benefits
Tenant meeting will take place to discuss specifics like tenant responsibilities during the move process. Moving materials will be provided. Some items will be packed and stored by a contracted provider. Tenants will be responsible to unpack items once renovation is complete.
Families will be provided with 2 options for temporary housing accommodations. Food per diem will be provided for each household for the duration of their temporary stay.
